One of our current projects here at home is converting our spare bedroom from the place where our Japanese foreign exchange student slept to a nursery for Maya. We still have a few weeks to go before we leave for China to pick her up, so in the meantime we have been busy getting the whole place ready.
I love the colors purple and green together, so after painting two walls purple and two walls green, it was time to find some coordinating fabric for window treatments and a baby quilt. My mother, Leah and I went shopping last week and found the most beautiful floral pattern.
I just love that it has hints of purple (and a little pink) in it. This fabric will be made into the valance for the window and also will be the main fabric in the baby quilt. Isn’t it PURTY!
I love it!
[…] One thing I have done was pick out fabrics for the nursery. You can read more about that here. […]
