Hope you guys like the header. It is one of the pictures I took of the tree at Rockefeller Plaza when we visited recently. I figured it adds a little Christmas spirit to my blog.
This morning my daughter and I hand delivered the scarves I made for her pre-school teachers. You can see the first two completed here. I am really happy with the way they all turned out, especially the beaded one below.
Knitted with Moda Dea Beadnik yarn together with a cream colored yarn, it really came out beautiful. The little beads give it just an extra shimmer. I also quickly knitted up a scarf with fun fuzzy yarn you can buy in all the major craft supply stores. Knitted in her teachers favorite color, blue, it is a fast and easy scarf to knit when you don’t have a lot of time.
Hope your hungry. My next post will be my all time favorite recipe for sour cream coffee cake.
I love the header! It’s very festive. And your scarves all turned out so well!
Love the blue fuzzy scarf! Your header makes me home sick…I LOVE Rockefeller Center at Christmas.
Did someone say sour cream coffee cake?? YUM, my favorite…can’t wait for the recipe. Sounds like a great x-mas morning treat.

Everything looks beautiful – the header and the scarves. And my mouth is already drooling with anticipation over your recipe!!!
I wish I taught in your kids class:)
Very pretty, andlove the new picture!! I want to visit New York again, I haven’t been since I was little…
The header is great! NYC at Christmastime must be awesome. And the scarves? Those are some VERY lucky teachers. They will love them, I’m sure.
How fun and cheery! Your coffee cake recipe will come just in time. My husband’s family tradition is cooking coffee cake on Christmas morning, yet I’ve never really found a recipe I’m crazy about. They’re all too dry. Looking forward to seeing yours!
I think I need to teach your daughter!!!
Your coffee cake looks so yummy. I’ll have to post the gifts I made for Alex’s teachers. I love the scarves. I wish I’d thought of is sooner! Santa visits her nursery this afternoon and then that’s it. She’s let loose on the world until January. Anyway, LoVE it all. As usual! : )
Beautiful scarves! I am a crocheter but have recently (like this past month) decided to teach myself to knit! Great blog you have here!
